What she's saying is that some men need to stop glorifying being poor, and stop shaming people who want to climb the social ladder.Some men and women in Sri Lanka believe that eating at shitty restaurants and not being able to speak english is equal to being humble, and that anyone who wants to eat better food and speak English is trying to be "posh" in their own words.She's not criticizing poor people, she's criticizing the well off with poverty mentality.</blockquote>
