Whenever you kill a human being you are killing a source of thought too. A human being is a collection of ideas, and these ideas take moral precedence over a society. Ideas are patterns of value.

A death can be helpful to a society or harmful.
Yeah It Can be..
Like When PB Was Killed How The LTTE Supporters Acted / Act ..
Death of a Person Can Impact a Certain group of ppl in Different ways..
Example :
PB Dead - Sri Lankans Celebrate
LTTE Supporters Filled with anger and Hate Towards SriLankans.
But PB's Ideas were Valuable to the LTTE Supporters only, Not For Sri Lankans,

Only Was Harmful to all Sri Lankans..
So
Removing a Person With That Kind of Intentions [Harmful] and Ideas, Can Help a Society.. in PB's Case It is Most Helpful Than Harmful...
Help Full to all Srilankans....
PS : Dragging This Kind of Topic IS not Good @ This time BTW
