COLOMBO (News 1st) – An Army Captain has died while three others have been injured in an accident involving a Defender on Saturday (22).

Police said that the driver of the Defender bearing number 8806 of the Sri Lanka Army lost control of the wheel and crashed on to a tree in Muthuwella.

The Defender was travelling from Trincomalee to Maduru Oya early on Saturday (22) morning.

The deceased has been identified as Captain Devinda Woodward from 4 Special Forces.
