Defender help

Can someone help me when i search for Defender there few Defenders for sale engine are 4DR5 engine can someone explain me why is that ?

My advice is not to go for 4DR5. Most of them are converted from Land rover Series to Defenders. the reason 4dr5 is spares and easy of repair and maintenance.
Defenders are originally came with 12J or 19J at the begining and then 200TDI, 300TDI, TD5, puma 2.4 and Puma 2.2.

Most of defenders converted to 4DR5 due to easy maintenance. but this engine kills the power of the defender. and then we have Land rover Series converted to Defenders.
most of them not have updated the book also with the new engine. 300TDIs are always better with my experience.

check the book with RMV then the vehicle clearly.

300TDI thama Best as far as maintenance and repair concerns. It can be repaired even in a jangle but ECU ones you can't.
