Two leading members of the Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) including the party national organizer R. Yogarajah are expected to extend support to Presidential candidate General Sarath Fonseka. A formal announcement is expected to be made tomorrow.
Sources said that Deputy Minister M. Satchithananthan of the CWC is also expected to announce his support to the former Army Chief at a press briefing scheduled for tomorrow.
When contacted by Daily Mirror online Mr. R. Yogarajah refused to comment on the claims.

Two senior members of the Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) are set to extend their support to the common candidate General (Retd.) Sarath Fonseka, party sources said today.
The members are R. Yogarajah, the party’s National Organizer and N. Satchithananthan, the Deputy Minister for Education, the sources added.
A formal announcement to this effect will be made tomorrow at a press briefing, they said.
“Let’s not be speculative for the moment. Wait till I make the announcement tomorrow”, Mr. Yogarajah said without elaborating when asked to comment on the issue.
