Not really so

Hi CmatN70

Moka unath unuth yanne SLT line eke thama.... mokada hama Service providr kenekma SLT haraha thama yanne...

As much as I dislike SP s like Dialog, I have to say you are wrong here.
SLT is just one of the ISPs with backbone internet links. TO my knowledge, many others have international IP links which are separate from SLT links. And Dialog also happens to be one of them.

machan home net 1ke 512 kbps hariyata wada karanawada? nattam SLT wala wage 60kbps wageda?
machan you get the same speed in 512kbps....you need to devide it by 8 to get the speed on KBs...So even if you use Dialog Home net you'll get around 64 KB/s...And also to get the connection you need to be in the range where the network works...There's a distance that the network works from your town or city...The network only works for about 1.5 KM here at Badulla...

that's on a 1mbps dialog broadband connection. No download limits. Its using WiMax technology so it has an out door antenna which they fix at your location. Connection to the PC is from ethernet connection so your pc needs an ethernet port.
You can use it with a router as well and share the connection among several PCs.
Dialog is using PPPoE for this network so any router with PPPoE protocol can be used.
