Home fiber is not that profitable in a country like Sri Lanka where BB Penetration is low. That's why no other ISP don't step into it, SLT already have marketshare. Allowing more competitors is good up to certain point. If they want they can rent SLT NBN but even more cheap to rely on wireless. This is also the reason for high per GB Cost. Even they give don't expect more than what SLT give

Yp. I'm aware of it. But that's not the major matter. Though they can use SLT infra. Dialog also has lisence to implement GPON. They can't make fixed Copper Telco network coz their Telco license is WILL. But that not affect to Broadband. But TRC not allow such kind of expansion. Bcoz It creates unnecessary wires run in public places & also unfair competition. Not only dialog even LB can request for use NBN.
