Did U know dialog charges Rs. 11.50 every time you send an sms using 7788?

Dialog netted the highest profits during the Sirasa Super Star promotions:

Fact: 2 million customers:
Lets say: 50% (1,000,000) customers voting on 7788
Lets say: Rs. 1.00 profit from one sms: > then (instant) profit Rs. 1,000,000!

Fact: 11.50 -(vat) = Rs. 10.00
Fact: 10.00 - 2.30 (charge for normal sms) = Rs. 7.70
Fact: actual cost per sms = Rs. 0.50 (or less)
Then Profit : Rs. 7.20!!

Total gross income in netting a 7788 (single) event (eg: Sirasa Super Star)
Rs. 7.2 x 1,000,000 = Rs. 7,200,000.00!!!

Now imagine... Sirasa Super Star running for more than six months and people voting for different singers!!

Now (finally, after all the glamour) What did Sirasa Super Stars did for you?
Or have you been taken for a ride?

Now imagine if dialog charges just Rs. 1.00 extra to all your bills.
or charges you on a number that you haven't taken

Fact: This actually happens and takes place regularly.........
not only dialog! with some other networks as well!!!
