Can you send me an official page that saying you need to complete an MSc in the USA? I’ve applied to many U.S. universities for a PhD, and none of them require it.

@AllGood Don’t spread false information. There’s no special law in the USA that requires a PhD applicant to complete an MSc during their PhD program. Yes, PhD programs in the USA are generally longer than those in other countries, typically taking about five years to complete, while in Australia they can be finished in around 3.5 years. In the USA, PhD students also take more coursework than Australian PhD students, which might be why some people assume they’re doing an MSc. But trust me, it’s not an MSc, it’s just that U.S. PhD students usually spend about 1.5 years more than Australian students.

1st Class තිබ්බටත් දැන් තත්වේ අනුව ලෝකෙ හොදම University එකක ලයින් කරගන්න අමාරුයි. ඔස්ටේලියා ගත්තත්, University of Melbourne වගේ යනවනම් 3.9+/4 GPA එක තියෙන්න ඕන. Queensland වගේ ඔස්ටේලියාවේ ටිකක් Normal Ranking University එකක් 3.7 GPA එකක් තියෙන එකෙක්ට ලයින් කරගන්න පුලුවන්. 1st Class ගත්තත් දැන් වැඩක් නෑ GPA එක 3.9ක් වත් නැත්නම්.

There is no such thing as a “USA MSc.” Just because you spend five years doing a PhD in the USA doesn’t mean you get an MSc by default.
