He said two teams are conducting investigations. Measures have been adopted to provide the necessary security for the Rupavahini employees under the guidance of the IGP, the Chairman of the Rupavahini Corporation and union leaders.
Meanwhile Minister (Dr. Mervyn Silva)
bi*ch has denied any involvement in this ordeal. He said he does not get involved in such degradable activities. Rupavahini is an institution that is affiliated to the government. There are no motives of hatred or revenge as all are members of one family. He was of the view that a certain media institution was behind this incident. He had lodged a complaint with the Police in this regard. They have employed a gang to carry out these activities, to take revenge from him and tarnish his image and stop his advancement in politics. The Minister opined that the UNP was defeated in the polls held in the East. Therefore, the party is stranded in the area. He said he will fully cooperate with the inquest. He requested not to drag his name into such incidents.
