Do i need chymistry for computer engineering??

it is important to have a good scientific and mathematical background if someone is going to do engineering.

about the OP:
if someone is going to design something physically existing, they he will have to select materials for the design. will have to compare materials to obtain the best possible efficiency.
if an engineer is going to design an electrical/electronic based product, he will have to select best materials for that. thermal properties, possible thermal stresses during operating conditions, electrical properties would have to be compared.

Exactly bro,I also edited my post,Engineering is not virtual,it's about the reality.AFAIK,Even in Computer Engineering,subjects like Mechanics are taught to give this

defa. that knowledge comes handy in many situation. even for a SW Eng, knowledge about Civil, material, chemical, mechanical knowledge is required in some place some time in the career.

Im still 16Yerz I really don't like chymistry much its a pain in de ass its hard so i need to knw if its really needed for the path im going

99.8% of Sri Lankan software engineers are computer virgins. they do AL from mathematics or something, go to a public or private university get a deegree on IT or CS.( but they still dont know how many keys there are in the keyboard) and find a job ( which takes 100 engineers to create a stock control software ).. and die happily.
the other 0.2% guyz become really interested in computers before the above ones... they are the real com guyz. the explore new tecs, post tech blogs, create advance algos, create advance softwares, they do a lot of gr8 work in computer world...

so whats u gonna be.. ?
