yup thats what i dont get as well.....

they watch all the crappy shows and still complains

well in my case i just watch only the breaking news coz of these ongoing bomb blasts....

if its not for that I dont watch any of these channels except Art TV for its "State of business" and "Achievers"

Yeah! there could be many types of viewers too.. while some viewers maybe die hard fans of Sirasa others may view Sirasa to analyze what exactly they are doing....

You've gotta analyze them before you criticize them.. don't you agree?

Think of Film Censor Board... they have to watch all the movies whether they like it or not, and whether the movie is crap or not.... because they've gotta tell the people what is good and what is bad!

So in that sense someone could still watch Sirasa but not a fan of it!

if u criticize in a manner which it gonna benifit to the channel or the programm long term wise its good..

here i meant machang the ppl who watch sirasa always for news,all those other stuff and still complain its bad bad bad...i mean if something bad u watch it for once or twice dats it rite....

i think wut most ppl doing is criticize it just bcoz few other ppl do..and they thing its cool to do..

c our sri lankans love to criticize things than look at the good side..(most of the ppl, not all)

im saying v shud balance..i never say sirasa is awesome or i never say its suky.

i say is ya they hv crap programs an they got good 1s..so v can criticize da bad 1s like gongdepaya n praise da good 1s..

A/L papers are in thousands... and you can appeal if you feel there's a mistake!

I'm talking about a Single News bulletin... circulating within a board of people in a company...who does this everyday!!

I think SIRASA can criticize the govt. all they want.... infact I like it because it is a good oppertunity for the govt. to patch themselves up, where it is leaking! I even think SIRASA should chase on this WAR ON TERROR by SL Govt. ask official when its gonna end? Give them oppotunity to explain their plans to SIRASA viewers too..because obviously most SIRASA fans aren't Rupavahini fans

But however there is new theory going on.. which is... You watch Govt. media then you watch SIRASA then you can balance the situation...

Well.. I personally dont agree with this theory.. just because govt. media boast govt. (that's why they are called govt. media right? ) does sirasa need to be bias on UNP? Last time I checked its called SIRASA not opposition media or something...so shouldn't they be leading the movement of unbiased reporting? be an example to the govt. media?

And also improve on their programs especially add some educational programs and stuff....can't they create an educational reality TV show? people say SIRASA is good in marketing.. as I've heard if you are good in marketing you should be able to sell ice cubes to Eskimos So what's the issue then? Maharaja don't like Sri Lankans brain cells to do a bit of exercising? Like in olden days Kings didn't like people learning maths?

So take the challenge bring something worthwhile! Not all cheap-pleasure-quick buck programs all the times.....invest in knowledge!!!
