If you wish to use one day service, yes need a no objection letter, certified by JP (from current owners area)
online downloaded papers are OK. better to get a book from RMV because if you going to sell vehicle again with open papers, buyers might hesitate
in the book there are three sets, one for current owner, one for new owner and one for Commissioner. basically to transfer the vehicle you need to send commissioners copies to RMV.
you need to fill both MTA 6 and MTA 8
Tnx a lot machan. is there a increase in the fee for one day service compared to normal service? how long is normal service?

it takes at least two months in normal service. they send a letter to previous owner asking whether he/she has any objection to transfer this vehicle and wait for 21 working days for a reply. if no reply received within 21 days, they will process the transfer.
Tnx machan. one day service is the best it seem. i believe they will update the vehicle book also in the same day with new owner details?
