Does Amazon ship to Sri Lanka?

Hi guys, I want to buy some stuff from Amazon but im not sure whether they ship to Sri Lanka. I visited their shipping countries section and Sri Lanka is not listed there but there is a function on the left sidebar that we can tick the "ships to Sri Lanka" option and some items are listed there.

And what does "Eligible for shipping to Sri Lanka" mean?

So does it really ship particular items to Sri Lanka or does it not? Please answer if you are sure. Thanks

They ship only Books and CDs to Sri Lanka, (and i guess they ship Amazon kindle BaseModel, AKA non paperwhite model)

you can use a parcel forwarding service if the items are expensive (coz this will cost you extra $30 or more)...

90% of the sellers on Amazon do not ship to Sri Lanka. I found the shipping cost kind of high even when they do for some items. Kapruka will take longer to deliver the item and can be more expensive. But that could be the best alternative solution if you really need an item from Amazon
