Hi Elakiri members,

I want to use 2 ADSL connection and combine then and use so I can do load balancing and failover. Now I did some research but always result comes from other countries. Anyone in Sri Lanka has tried any hardware box for this or at least linux box? I need some sharing of your comments and experience on this matter.

It will not increase the speed of single connection but will increase the speed of multi connections.

Like if you downloading a file with 1 connection then it will only give speed of a single DSL line. But if you download using split parts or multi links then you can use the power of 2 DSL lines.

If you trying to run a server on them i don't think its a good idea. But if you want fast download speeds from a open server wich is not tracking IP then yes its capable.

    Hi GTRZ,

My whole idea is to have load balance since one ADSL line has been overkill by our user growth. Apart from that I want to host one web server internally not for the commercial purpose but to demonstrate to customers. So I found out some of these devices offering DNS round robin feature as well. Still hunting for good one I can find from SL. Some users don't have my requirmetn only the load balance but I expect inbound and outbound both failover as a precaution.
