DVD Writer Help!

Guys I got two dvd writers.Both work and can read dvds and the roms are displayed in my computer.Up until recently (bout 2 days ago) I wrote dvds with both roms no problem.But today when i tried to write dvds using nero and ashampoo the roms are not displayed.
I have a feeling that this may be a virus.Any ideas

may be, chk the cables again..have u check with bios ,wether they r detected..

Cable are connected no issues there.The bios also show the roms.The roms are also displayed in my computer

When I was using XP, few times some of my optical drives have disappeared for no apparent reason. You can get them back by uninstalling the Secondary IDE Channel under Device Manager > IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers. Refresh device manager and hopefully it’ll detect your DVD writers again. If not, uninstall the secondary IDE channel and restart the computer. Hope this helps.

Sounds good bro.But one of my roms is sata.The thing is that both my roms are displayed and they work.Only that they are not shown on nero and ashampoo

Try karala naa mama fedora try karala balanna one.
I think it is a virus that prevents that the softs from working
