මම හරියටම දන්නේ නෑ. එත් OEM Version එන්නේ ඔය Dell, HP වගේ PC නැත්තන් Laptop වලට company එකෙන් දාල එවන ඒවා නේද? නැත්තන් PC ගොඩක් තියන company වලට PC activate කරගන්න දෙන key එකක් වෙන්න ඕනේ. මම දන්න තරමින් එහෙමයි!

Windows 8 වල ඉඳන් windows key එක chip වලට embedded කරලා එන නිසා ඒ key එකක් වෙන PC එකක දැම්මට activate වෙන්නෙත් නැහැ කියල තමා net එකේ තියෙන්නේ. ඒ නිසා ටිකක් හොයල බලල ගන්න.

Those cheap OEM keys only for equipment manufacturers. eBay sellers actually sell bulk OEM keys and after few months Microsoft will blacklist the key due violation of T&C. You can buy single OEM key from online shops but they are usually cost £50 upward.

Don't know about what's on eBay. But PC assemblers do sell the sealed packs with media and COA. These are cheaper and I am sure they work without problems. These are available to system builders and under M$ T&C which defines who the system builder is a bit vague. These come in individual packs.

By definition OEM keys can be installed only on one computer one time...But retails keys can be transferred to different systems up to 5 times. Europion Union laws made users to use OEM keys again and again if you are discarding your PC. All keys from Ebay are from European union sellers.

when you purchased an OEM license for a pc. license dies with the hardware. if the machine burnt you can install it on another pc. but its against there terms and conditions. hope this helps.
