it's not courier...here USPS is doing that.
when I was in SL, postman used to bring them. But I have never ordered huge things. If it's something very valuable, of course you will have to pick it up from the custom after paying tax.

when you checkout (pay ) you can select the shipping method. If it's from china and they offer free shipping most probably it is EMS (postal service ). it will take about 3 weeks to 5 weeks to come from china. small things will deliver to your door step by the postmen, and the big things you have to go to central mail exchange (fort) to collect.
