AFAIK, mobitel has the highest coverage and steady connections.
Airtel is supposed to have better deals but their 3G coverage is extremely limited.

even post paid are at 1 mbps. Only the 1290 package has 3.6 download speed but that too is rarely achieved.

I'm testing a mobitel 890/- per month package these days.
Managed to hit 2GB usage in just 3 days.
I'll be hitting the 4GB limit probably in a week.
So I think its not a good idea to cancel your ADSL and move to a 3G connection based on usage.

no provider in SL is giving 5.2mbps uplinks but most of dongles available in SL has max upload rate of 384kbps.. so no point of having such dongle. mobitel support upto 1.9Mbps uplink

a movie dvd rip is around 700mb. watch several and your capacity limit will be reached pretty fast.
