Hey wait a second, I have a problem, what if you park in an underground parking lot or inside a huge car parking building? I don’t think the GPS will work.

I normally forget which floor I parked, so this is not going to help someone like me

NO. We can use, All a GPS receiver needs is access to open sky. You can get the position information anywhere in the world (including SL). But there aren't any navigable maps for SL, so you can't really use it to find places or navigate. But for a gadget like this it is not a problem since all it shows is the direction and the distance to the car.
