What I think is that,In the past we haven't had much trouble which caused by our ethnicity.This all began after the British invasion.
What ever the ruler,people lived with happily in the past.Some times it turns out a tamil King. Sinhala/Tamil ethnicity problem is totally stared after birtish rulers start to govern this country.They purposely inject the virus to both ethnic groups using various methods.as we all know one is the educational Supremacy .They should responsible for all of this sins..
We didn't had these kind of problems.(unless it turns out to be a invasion from a south India) in our history,We should understand the real core behind this matter.Otherwise we wont be able to find a long lasting solution.

All the facts strongly disapprove the myths as u said.
This country - Sinhalese majority.
Its natural that our race (which is sinhales) we dominate our country.
Tamils can have all the rights no problem ,but they cant ask for separate country.
Its like Sri lanken ppl live in Australia or Chanda could claim for separate country saying we live here and our numbers r huge.?

Sigiriya mirror wall is one of the very rare places where common men and women's writing are found. Out of 1300 grafetti dated from 6th century AD to 12th century AD, non of them is Tamil.
The oldest tamil rock inscription in SL is in Koneshwaram temple in Trinco. The writing in 7-8 century AD.
What does this show? Tamils have been an absolute minority until 5-6 century AD, that s 1000 years of Sinhalese civilization!
