i started the diploma in business @ ACBT (and hope to do the degree in bus.admin or marketing). i have lectures just two days a week, so im searching a good computer course to rise my qualifications. can anybody name me some good courses and institutes. what about NCC? is it a globally recognized one? will it be very hard for me to follow a course like that while doing the business dip. @ ACBT???

If you're going on Business and marketing path, then why don't you do CIM instead of a computer course?

I think in Sri Lanka this is a good salary machang for a SW Engineer.

But I'm pretty sure they must be asking a full set of qualifications and experience.

And I'm again pretty sure that this is a foreign company

Because $1,600 is the very basic salary in here (Australia.) Even a full time typist or a cleaner can earn more than that for a month

So that's why people outsource to Sri Lanka

Anyway get qualified and stay in touch I'm planning to have my own company in Sri lanka in another 5 - 6 years of time... (Ofcause with salaries much better than that )

Even to be a cleaner, you have to come here first ne.... And coming to Aus is not that easy now, especially without qualifications you cant...

mmm... No, I don't think so. Commerce students also can follow an IT degree if he/ she is a hard working student

i think this is real good time to start this thread again.
i did my a levels last year in math stream and get through.my district rank is 71 and hope to enter physical science.which campus would i get chance to enter?after highly ranked ppl get in to the universities,will i get good universities ?how many ppl get throu to physical from a district?(coz i don't want to go to rajarata or ruhuna).as i know physical scence is huge steam.there are lot of catagaries.can any one explain what r they?its really worthy if anyone can help me?

after that,there wiill be 6 months till university entrance.what can i do till it. i mean targeting carrier(not english courses).i hv no idea abt them.it should parrelely go wit what i'm going to do in campus.and targeting future job market. if any one can help me regarding this issue,it'll be great help for my future.

problem is i hate those commerce subject,i didn't study them even for o/l
something like going wit computer science is much better than cima.
