You need exactly four gallons of water, yet you only have two buckets: one five gallons and the other seven. How do you measure out four?

Fill five gallon bucket. Pour water from five gallon bucket into three gallon bucket until three gallon bucket is full. This leaves two gallons in the five gallon bucket. Empty three gallon bucket. Pour the two gallons from the five into the three gallon bucket. Fill five gallon bucket. Use water from five gallon bucket to fill the remaining gallon of space in the three gallon bucket. now u got four gallons.

Fill the 7 gallon bucket n pour it to d 5 gallon bucket which will leave 2 gallons in the 7 gallon bucket...Put the 2 gallons to the 5 gallon bucket And now refill the 7 gallon bucket n pour 3 gallons of water to the 5 gallon bucket...... and den u get 4 gallons

4. fill 7 to top again
