Machan, web technology and everything has evolved over the past few years, in my experiences over 65-75% of the traffic are now coming from mobile devices, yet elakiri is still not responsive, landing page is still what it was back in the day. So what's the reason for keeping the old system and all as it is?

Do you have problems finding investors or keeping the site running is more like a hobby to you now? I think you have a lot of other income streams so you don't care about taking elakiri to the next level.

Bro, elakiri had/has the potential to become the best all around social media platform in the LK, but it didn't. Don't you think you had a goose that could've layed golden eggs but you let it rot in a closed room whithout understanding it's potential?

Despite what others think, i still believe that the ElaKiri as forum with its awesome brand name, can still recover & become a pioneer on Social Media and as an Online Community. You guys let/are letting other stupid people with no vision or whatsoever to takeover the industry.

I don't know how you two or three are dividing the revenue generated through the forum but it's a shame what elakiri has become, look at it's facebook page, but at least the youtube is now getting updated with car reviews. I have tons of complaints and blames to put on ya, but you already knows of all these things, so i guess you have a very good reason that explains why we failed as a community to hold the throne as the King of Ceylonese Cyber Space! I am not shaming you, this is my heart speaking bro. We should be ruling the nigger kingdom. shit bruh. :/

First we don't earn anything from this site, we have placed banner ads before but earnings are way too little compared to the cost.
And too much legal and political problems to face from authorities.
In simple this is running from my own pocket as an expensive hobby.
But many people made lot of money and contacts using the community. I am okay with that.
Sure we can make this profitable but have to commercialize the site beyond some users expectations. They are used to the fast ad free interface.
And it's easy to make money from a niche related english international site than messing with the Sri Lankan traffic even if it's huge in numbers.
Anyway soon we will update the site for sure, but it's hard to find free time and give major priority to this due to above reasons.
Believe it or not our YouTube channel also running as a hobby than making serious money.

In simple make money internationally SL traffic only good if you have a specialized local business model.
