It is very clear that Pilot wanted to get revenge from Malaysian government due to courts order for 5 years custody for opposition leader. So for getting revenge from Malaysian government, Pilot may want destroy the plane so that remains can not be found. So pilot would want to plane fly far away from the malaysian region and destroy . For that fuel is enough in the plane.So pilot fly the plane to indian ocean side. But he would have wanted to escape from lands and high height for escaping from radar and avoiding to fall to lands. Because pilot wanted destroy the plane so that it can not be found. So he knows well where radar is not working in the sea far away. So we can imagine , pilot had taken the plane on the sea from indian ocean to Australian side where far away and radar loss and until fuel finishing and let plane fall in to sea.
