ur not even able to take full advantage of ur X1950 cuz of the crap CPU u've got there & the bus speed.... i think iz high time u went for something lyk atleas FX-62 (+ a good mobo)... my advice is to go for conroes, cuz AMDs simply put, just SUCK at OCing whn compared to it.. n conroes simply blows evrthing else off the water... the only hope AMD's gt is the nw phenom processors for the good build up in expectations they've started... bt who knows how much of those turns out to be true...

Socket 939s max is FX 62.If not have to go for opterons.
Why did I paid 28k and imported my mobo?
No Intels for me.HArdcore AMD fanboy.

Yep..I can run at Athlon64 3800+ beyond stock specs when I OC.so no bottlenecking.

Yep..I can run at Athlon64 3800+ beyond stock specs when I OC.so no bottlenecking.

I just got wrong about CPU thinking CPUs will be around here.When called everyone said they import them,they r out of stock like.But actually there werent anything.Jus they tried to sell me an 3500+ venice for 35k.After 1 hour assembling the PC,I oced into a 3800+ and start working

Now u r being silly.U cant get any AMD X2,FX here.Nobody will sell an Athlon FX which bought and an FX is high in price not worthy the unlocked multiplier.An Opteron 170 will do the work well.And every AMD news is old except 6000+ and Barcelona.

the definition of OCing is to run it beyond stock specs...

Mine runs 2000MHz at stock.3800+ runs 2400MHz.When I OC I usually runs at 2500MHz.I can run beyond that If its not for the memory.
