The looks are the last thing that I'm looking in Vista. I have disabled the animations, because they are slow. I mean, when I am working, even the slightest delay can be a bother. It is not slow because it runs slow in my PC, but for the animation to happen, it takes some milliseconds.
Few things I'm impressed with Vista are,
1. Searching
2. Memory utilization
3. Vista seems to correct the issues better than XP...I mean, when XP gets errors, it gets worse each and every day, but Vista seems to improve.
Issues I have with Vista
1. Slow boot times
2. Slow to hibernate/resume
3. When deleting files, if the file is locked by an application, it doesn't say it straight away...it takes few seconds before saying that file cannot be deleted. I wish it could detect the lock and tell is ASAP.
4. Vista forgets folders, but I have found a work around.
