Eng in Mech, The degree was most probably the most difficult degree when i was studying, i think it is still the same.... Sri lanka is just focusing on facility development no any value addition, even Dockyard is just building ships no naval architect...I also strongly say don't get addicted to the Mechanical Engineering name..i am not going to talk about other fields but i think Civil is the best field in Sri lanka..... Not only Engineering maths, We don't have the opportunity to practice management and most of the important technical subjects.... Even Energy sector is trying to depend on Coal which is now being replaced by renewables in developed country... If you want to depend on coal which was introduced to generate energy around 200 and more years ago why are we studying new technologies, Environment and renewables...I don't know where this country is heading to...</blockquote>
