මචන්ලා, මම මෙතන comment කරන්නෙ war එකක් පටන් ගන්න හිතාගෙන නම් නෙවේ ඔන්න.. හරිදො.... මෙහෙමයි.. මේකෙ හුන්ගක් තියෙන්නෙ විහිලුනෙ.. මට මුලින්ම දැනගන්න ඕනෙ මේකෙ මේ salaries ගැන comment කරල තියන අය fresh graduates ලද නැතිනම් degree still කරන අයද කියල.. මගෙ gf ගෙ ලොකු අම්මගෙ පුතා මොරා batch top. මොරා software engineering කියල degree එකක් නෑ.. මම හිතන්නෙ කට්ටිය ඒ ක දන්නව වෙන්න ඕනෙ.. මොරා වල තියාන්නෙ IT degree එකක්.. and MIT Degree එකක්.. ඔය දෙකෙන් හොන්ද IT එක. මම හිතන්නෙ කට්ටිය ඒක දන්නව.. හරි.. මිනිහ මීට මාස කිහිපයකට කලින් MIT එකෙන් අහක් උනා.. (Millenium IT) Senior Tech lead තමඉ මිනිහගෙ designation එක අහක් වෙනකොට තිබ්බ.. salary එක උනෙ.. rs.260,000.00. හරිද.. මිනිහගෙ ඇත්තටම basic එක ගැන නම් මම දන්නෙ නෑ. නමුත් දැන් මේ කතාව කියන මම Software Engineer-mobile(android/ios) හරිද.. මගෙ qualifications තමඉ HND-SE(UK-greenwich uni) and OCPJP-SE6 with some few professional qualifications. ඔය කට්ටිය තෙරුම් ගන්න Software Engineering field එකෙ අපි ගත්තොත් foreign country වලින් මෙහෙ local degree holder කෙනෙක් (fresh graduate) මොකක් වත් speciality එකක් හම්බවෙන්නෙ නෑ.. හරිද.. basic කිසිමම company එකක එකක fresh graduate කෙනෙක් ට 1laks වලින් එහා දෙන්නෙත් නෑ.. මම කලින් work kare hSenid outsourcing එකෙ.. මාත් එක්ක interview හිටිය මොර 2+ exp තියන අය.. නමුත් select උනේ නැත.. මට degree එකක් නැත.. හරිද.... දැන් work කරන place එකෙත් මොර අය කලනිය, උව වෙල්ලස්ස, sliit, nsbm, iit with minimum 2 yrs exp. අය හිටිය.. නමුත් select උනේ නැත..(salaries දෙන්න බැරුව එහෙම නෙවේ ඒ කට්ටිය හුන්ගක් අය මම ඉල්ලපු ගානට වඩා අඩුවෙන් ඉල්ලල තිබුනෙ.. ) මේකයි මට කියන්න ඕනෙ උනෙ... මොරා අය හරි sliit අය හරි වෙනත් ඕන degree කරන හෝ fresh graduate හෝ වේවා.. නිකන් විහිලු salary ranges නොදා ඒ කියන්නෙ තමන් හිතින් හිතාගෙන ඉන්න ඒ කියන්නෙ හීන මවන ගනන් නොදා දන්න දේ දාන්න.. මොකද මමත් මේ industry එකට එනකොට ඔය jokes අම්බානට අහල තියනව... පින් සිද්දවෙයි නොදන්න මගුල් නොදා දන්නෙ නැතිනම් දේවල් හරියට thread එක කියවල විතරක් යන්න... මේ thread එක post කරපු අයටත් ලොකු වගකීමක් තියනව මේ පිලිගත නොහැකි salary ranges තියනවනම් අහක් කරල දාන්න... තමන්ගෙ මනෝ විකාර දාන්නෙ නැතුව දන්න දේ දාන්න.. මෙ මම දැක්ක මොරා salary එක ගැනයි private ඒ ව ගනයි ලොකු කතාවක් යනව.. මම කියන්නෙ ඔය හිතගෙන ඉන්න මනෝ විකාර ඇත්ත ජීවිතේදි වෙන්නෙ නෑ.. හරිද... මොරා zone 24 එකේ basic එක 45k 2nd upper class එකක් තියන් එකෙක් ට.. මම personally දන්නව.. මිනිහට ඒකත් හම්බුනේ freelancer projects කරල තියනව හුන්ගක් එ නිසයි.. sliit, කලනිය, nsbm, iit, ucsc, ඔය හැම මගුලකම එවුන්ට trainee ඉන්න වෙනව.. talent එක නැතිනම්.. coding බැරි නම් development එකට ගන්නෙ නෑ.. මම අද office ගියේ නෑ කාලකන්නි viral flu එකක් හැදිල.. මම මේ ක type කරේ පන යනකන් කාටවත් බනින්නවත් criticize කරන්නවත් මගෙ ලොකුකමක් කියන්නවත් නෙවේ මේ විකාර කතා දැකලයි.. මේ ව කියවන ලමයි පවු.. නොදන්න කමට මේ විකාර කියවල නිකන් බොරු මනස්ගාත ඔලු වලට පුරවගන්නව.. ඒ නිසයි.. එහෙනම් හැමෝටම සුබ දවසක්..

Most of the salary ranges posted here are not realistic at all for fresh graduates. You could go for a higher salary depending on how much talent you have and how you demonstrate it during the interview, but most companies have upper limits for these positions as well. If you are looking for your first job in IT, don't get depressed your starting salary was not 2lakhs or 1lakh. Also, don't give a crap about how much others people are earning or what they say they are earning. If it's a decent enough salary and the place is good for learning, join it. With experience and as you learn stuff, all these magical looking salaries will come to you.
In our company, we don't really give a damn about which university they are from. Even if someone doesn't hold a degree he/she could still get recruited if they are exceptional talents in the software field. What matters for us when recruiting is how much ability you have and how good values you have as a human being. Even if you are a wizard in coding but act like an asshole, chances are you won't get hired.
