ethernet adapter

today i have found my computer ethernet RJ45 port is notworking because of yesterday lightning
i am using intel DG35 motherboard, and computer is still working fine except RJ45 port
and also i have warrenty for my motherboard, so can i replace or repair my motherboard free for warrenty

Or should i buy a new ethernet adapter
if yes what ethernet adapter is good USb to RJ45 or PCI ethernet card?
help...

since u have the warranty replace ur Mother board but don't tell them about the lighting incident, just say the Port is not working

because i have only on PCI slot
have VGA for PCI express 16X
and also this board has 2-PCI 1X (small ones)

just buy PCI Ethernet card. PCI is more than enough.. USB is tooooooo much for a NIC.
