Police say explosion on railway track near ‘Kalupalama’ Slight damage to track. No casualties

An explosion has been reported close to railway bridge at Wellampitiya, but no casualties have been caused, police said.

However minor damage to the track has been caused.

Railway officials said all trains on the main line from Colombo towards Pologahawela and Chillaw have been supended.

blast is that Kalu palama, Kelaniya.
One foot section of 1 railway track has been damaged but no damages to the other track.
