1). HIS earliest task in Sri Lankan politics was to be a ‘bell boy’ and bring crowds to cheer Mrs Banadaranaike. This HE did like a faithful puppy until Mahinda Rajapakse then a SLFP young Turk found that HE was bringing the same crowd over and over.again

exposed HIM.

2). After complaining about Mr Wimal Weerawansa’s castigation of HIM and HIS

organization as to how HE was selling national interests for dollars he wrote to the Attorney General to take legal action, against Mr WW. But the AG did not agree with

HIM and HE is now silent or in a withdrawal mood.

3). HE said that in Sri Lanka the Buddhist monks have burnt nearly 150 churches while arguing to defend HIS and HIS supporters’ violence against the Buddhist monks who attempted to disrupt HIS meeting where the agenda was to preach peace to anti-LTTE forces.

4). HE was taken to the fourth floor of the CID for questioning as he was acting against the National Security and HE reacted publicly as usual and threatened to take legal action against the CID. Perhaps HE is still consulting the lawyers or waiting to file action in a LTTE court.

5). HE was instrumental in taking action against Fredica Janz for writing articles critical of the LTTE and the irresponsible attitude of the Norwegians in allowing the LTTE to raise funds. He got Fredrica out of Interntional Alert at the dictates of the LTTE and Norway.

6). HE was bending over backwards to maintain HIS close connections with the

LTTE and the Norwegians who were giving nourishment to the terrorists.

7). HE could not make up his mind or he purposely acted as per LTTE ruling and never condemned the killing of Mr Kadirgramer, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs.

8). The International Alert operations which came under HIM was probed and investigated regarding its role in Sierra-Leone and was found that the IA was partial to the junta over the democratically elected Government.

9). HIS sordid affair in handling the conflict in Sierra Leone is considered to have contributed the prolonging of the Sri Lankan conflict with the LTTE.

10) It is alleged that there was a series of incidents of diamond smuggling from Sierra-Leone which enriched the NGO involved in ‘the peace process’ The observers in Sri Lanka are of the view that the oil deposits in Sri Lanka had been a source of encouragement for countries like Norway to finance HIS NGOs.

10). IA in general and Sri Lanka chapter was fashioned by HIM to justify atrocities committed by the LTTE and to paint the actions taken by the Government against the

LTTE as a genocide of Tamils.

11). He issued a map of Sri Lanka to the world community depicting the coastal area

from South of Puttalam to Hambantota with big chunks of land running along the coast and also the total central province as the main Tamil areas to convince the World Community that a substantial area of Sri Lanka was mainly occupied by the Tamils and

their rights are denied by ‘the Sinhala Government”

12). HE has bought over a number of Buddhist monks with the Norwegian funds and

operate in the East and South of Sri Lanka too to create a group toeing HIS line to

balkanize Sri Lanka in the name of maintaining peace. This is in keeping with the Norwegian study on Sri Lanka to persuade Buddhist monks to accept Norwegian-LTTE

line of thinking.

13). HE draws a monthly salary of over one million rupees. HIS latest outfits are known as Foundation for Co-Existence and Dharmashakthi Foundation.
