External Hard Drive Bay for SATA Internal Drives

I bought a laptop recently. So, now I'm using it, while brother & sis using the desktop one. There are two hard drives installed in that desktop one, 1TB & 160GB. I'm planning to remove that 1TB since it's a waste they don't use it as much as I used. I explained this since someone can tell me a better solution for this situation rather than an external bay (if there is one). I'd like to know the prices, details & places to buy one.
