I have plugged my extranal to the s8 then i have plugged the extranal to the pc... tgen extranal wont show anything on the pc

at the same time?

anyways if you are trying to troubleshoot an external drive, the best bet would be to change the cable and see if it connects
if not try another pc, or you can take apart the enclosure and connect it directly to your pc via a sata cable
