For the ones who dont know about Fallen Grace, they are a Melo-Death Metal band from Colombo and one of the pioneer melo death bands in Sri Lanka as well.

This is one of the hottest singles to come out from the SL metal scene this year. The song was written by them when they were about 14 & if u r a melo death fan..u gonna love this (If u r not a metal fan..pls stay away :wink: )..One Hell of a track

before this.. they released the below demo..actually its this version that received so much positive reviews that the band went back & released a 2nd version..

The Demo was much more Raw, In your face & blew all of us away...check it out -

thanks ill check it out....after like 2 years I listened to some melodeath
not only the intro part i kind of noticed it all over the song. but these guys are really talented. not so bad of lyrics considering their age as wel.
and that lp versions loosing the rawness demo versions had, happens with all the artists i guess.

great guitar work but rather horrible voice. The growling reminds me of B movie vampire flicks.
If they sang in their normal voices with somewhat longer lyrics, with that guitar talent, they can make some great rock sounds.

but glad that u like it even though u r not familiar with the more darker side of metal...this proves that the track will be commercially successful if they ever release this commercially..

Guitar work is good but if they want commercial success, suggest they sing in normal voice with longer lyrics.

yes its on purpose..and death metal out sells all the other genres put together in Europe... and all of them sounds like this... its called "Death Metal Vocals"..its a vocal style... this maybe the first time u may have heard this style but its part of what is death metal...

theres no death metal without death growls...its unheard of

actually there are death metal without death grunts..what else would you call, music with distorted guitars and heavy base sound, with clean vocals but such grunts are essential i guess.

anyway not melo death but just death metal guttural vocals are of agony and pain.. the way i like it.

heavy sounding music with clean vocals can go in to Goth & Atmospheric Metal..even some Doom & depressive metal...they are all sub-genres but not exactly death or melodeath IMO..

I just asked around & dont think there is a death metal band that does not use death metal vocals in death metal... think other than the drumming & the riffs..vox is a major part of defining death & melodeath I think...

anyways..this is a good track.. lets leave it at that
