Mercury is crap. Their cases are ok I guess, but still the power supply is crap!

try full volume at mercury sub-volume will e muted or ust a noise
mouse-will break the scroll wheel
kb-only gud thing up to date
monitors-colours will fail after 2-3 months(dont knw now)
power supplies-sucks
etc-sucks
but u know its beautiful outside
crap inside

I vote for ASUS

I like INTEL till 865PERL board. But not now. Their new mother boards are full of shit.

I also think so. Because the Mercury agents here, also repairs the faulty motherboards in Sri Lanka, and they are trained in India.

D965-DQ6 is Gigabyte's flagship motherboard up to now for Intel CPUs.

These are the only ones that supports overclocking on Intel's end. Sure there was the D875PBZ which allowed a mere 5% overclock. But these allow 30% or more. These are for the enthusiasts. But whoever has so much money to spend on a motherboard will definitely look at the comparable Asus or Gigabyte products. I know I will.

Usage of fans shows how themally inferior their products are
Wouldn't you feel if you had a fanless heatsink solution for your CPU than otherwise? I would love to have a fanless solution.

Sure, the northbridge heatsink heats up a lot. On mine, it's warmer than the CPU heatsink.

Besides, fans make noise. A heatpipe solution would be much better. Gigabyte's DQ6 has that. So does that Asus Striker Extreme.

Well, in the Pentium4 S478 days, you couldn't even find a motherboard that cost more than Rs.20,000. Sure, EPSI had the P4P800 etc. at a high price, but EPSI is an exception.
