in these days price of Athlon 64 X2 is also going down....

But you have to find AM2 motherboards. They should be available because the X2 CPUs are available (I saw a 4200+ X2 EE CPUs at PC House stores, but since the people at the stores don't know the prices, I couldn't find it out). But I don't know which motherboard models they have with them, and the prices of them as well. :(

 You people really like the outer elegance than the inner?
My PC is so simple from outside. Nobody can imagine it has so much power inside it.

Socket 939 supports x2 too.As we had more 754 cpus while 939 rule we should get same with am2 and 939.Sothat i'll be waiting for a low priced 939 x2.:)

That's why I specifically mentioned 4200+ X2 EE. See "EE"? That comes for AM2 only.

Read this. Get a S939 CPU right now!!! They are vanishing from the market. Don't wait thinking they will become cheaper.

    Are you? didnt know

There is a difference between buying an Intel because of no other choice and bragging that they are the best. I would throw this motherboard right now, if I could have a Gigabyte or an Asus.

We are talking about motherboards here
You should have mentioned it was about CPUs.

However, if someone read what you wrote (You see, Intel still rules dude!!), they'll get a wrong idea. Intel didn't rule since late 2004 up to mid 2006. It was AMD who ruled in that period.

now Foxconn also got entered in to MOBO wars

Yeah, but they can't compete with the performance of Gigabyte or Asus. Sure, they are cheaper than those two makes.
