The SF elites, 9 GW and 8 GR soldiers inflicted the heaviest damages to the terrorists.Meanwhile, the soldiers of 58 Division have been able to rescue at least 146 civilians from the LTTE grip by this evening. The group included 29 female children, 24 male children, 47 adult females and 46 adult males. The civilians after receiving the food and immediate medical attention were rushed to the Kilinochchi IDP welfare centre.Meanwhile ground sources said LTTE terrorists have continued with 130mm direct-roll gun attacks at the forging troops.</blockquote>
