While others were distortions of truth at best, and outright lies at worst. And some statements were empty platitudes that makes no sense what so ever. Firstly, the format of the article is misleading. Statements are presented under the theme 'they said' and responses as 'what happened'. Giving the impression that 'they', the scientific community as a whole ,made a statement which was debunked by some evidence later on. however, if one scrutinizes these statements the 'they' are for the most part individuals while 'what happened' is only an opinion of an individual. Most of these examples are not evidence of any kind, but examples of scientific disputes. As i said earlier people argue, that is how we arrive at resolutions. It is fraudulent to take one side of an unresolved and ambiguous argument and claim that as unequivocal fact. Furthermore, 'they' refers to the plural while persons like </span><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"><span style="font-size: 10px">Liang Bua</span></span> are singular. This leads to the tantalizing conclusion that, <strong>Adnan Oktar, </strong>the owner of Harun Yahya, on top of being a<a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/artsNews/idUSL0992091620080509?sp=true" target="_blank"> <span style="color: Blue">convicted felon</span></a>, does not understand basic grammar.</p><p><span style="font-size: 10px"></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10px"></span>1)WTF, so two scientists disagree. that is what people do, big deal. What was going on was Professor Reiner Protsch von Zietenhad made a dubious claim about one particular Neanderthal fossil and Oxford University had called him out. what this doesn't prove is that Neanderthals didn't exist, there are hundreds of fossils of them, or that they never coexisted with humans, <strong>Erik Trinkaus </strong>himself has found 28,000 year old Neanderthal. He also consequently argues that Neanderthals and humans interbred as well. No wonder some of us are ugly. In summation, another meaningless blurb.</p><p></p><p>3)The conclusion drawn here is a lie. The scientific community is bitterly divided on this fossil. Laing et al, maintain that this is a pigmy human being. Pigmyfication or microcephaly is when a species is forced to shrink in size due to evolutionary forces, this is well documented in elephants and mammoth. Another group maintains that the fossil is a deformed human. the third <a href="http://www.radicalanthropologygroup.org/class_text_022.pdf" target="_blank"><span style="color: Blue">group says that this </span>is an entirely different spiece.</a></p><p></p><p>4)This <span style="color: Blue"><a href="http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/patterson.html" target="_blank">link</a></span> deals with the Horse issue much better than I can.</p><p></p><p>5) Once again we see dusinformation. The humerofemoral ratio, or length of humerus divided by length of femur, is 84.6 for Lucy, compared to 71.8 for humans, and 97.8 and 101.6 for the two species of chimpanzee. In other words, humans have much shorter arms compared to their legs than chimpanzees do, and Lucy falls roughly in the middle.</p><p></p><p>I can go on, but whats the point.
