Fire marshal investigators are investigating a suspicious fire at a Sri Lankan restaurant in Toronto early yesterday morning.
The fire broke out around 2:45 a.m. inside Lanka Gardens at 220 Wexford Rd.Peel police said fire officials had some suspicion around the cause of the fire and the fire marshal was called in.
The fire follows an arson attack on a Buddhist temple in Scarborough frequented by Sri Lankans last week.
That fire sparked speculation that Tamil Tigers deliberately set fire to the building.
