firefox crashing!

I've been using firefox for a long time and since the day i installed the very famous firefox 3 version, it was always crashing on my pc. I have installed windows several times now and still i get the same thing. just a few mins before, firefox chashed while i was making a youtube playlist and i lost all of my saved videos in quick list, it really took me more than an hour to find them!!!!!! wtf!!!!

havent anyone experienced something like this with the FF?? is it just to me everything is happening??!!!!!????

Only once or twice FF crashed on me when I was using youtube.
It happens only because of the youtube plugins.

I'd recommend Google Chrome.

Chrome doesn't crash the whole browser. It will simply crash only the 'tab' which you're having a problem.

Don't forget Google owns YouTube. Google owns Chrome.

mama firefox 3 alpha versions release karapu dawas wala idan 3.0.7 stable release eka wenakam hema version ekakma update karakara use karala thiyenawa. i get the same thing from each and very version of FF3.

but the FF2 never crashed on my PCs. I've been using FF since the unstable releases of FF 1.5

it rings a bunch of bells! yeh thats a good idea. but its hard to get used to the chrome. and i really need foxmarks and adblockplus plugins as well!!! i always press CRT+A and then CRT+C when im writing posts in EK cos when the FF craed, i could simply paste what i have written before in EK, so i will lose less.

but its a real pain

full uninstall ekak karala da damme? e kivve normal kramayata uninstall kalata passe document and settings vala hitan thiyana mozilla folder makala da damme?. (Total Uninstaller vage ekak pavichchi karala balanna). add-ons monava da use karanne?

i too xperinece da same thing bro.it crashes always.ue firefox in safemood.den crashing wil not happen.

aha thanks for the info. mamath try karala balanna ona. I reinstalled FF number of times, i even have reinstalled the OS several times as well. each and every time i get the same prob.

i use two addons. foxmarks and adblock plus.

I have posted about this problem in the FF forum and they says that there is a prob with firefox profile folder and they adviced me to try to delete it and try again. it worked for a while and again the same thing happens.

and they also told that there is a possibility to crash ff when a text is being inserted to a field..

Firefox frequently quits without warning on Ubuntu 8.04.
It seems that firefox crashes due to libflashplayer.so
gdb output:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

0xaefb2350 in ?? () from /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so

this is from launch pad,

i also noticed that the FF is crashing when the flashplayer is being used

I had that problem too. So i switched to the latest beta version of Firefox 3.1

foxmarks nisa thamai mata FF crash wewei hari use karanna wela thiyenne machan. it backups all of my bookmarks and when something happens, i can dl them and restore. its very very useful.
