Sharp's 108-inch LCD - The biggest flat-panel TV in the world is no longer a plasma but an LCD, though Sharp's 1920 x 1080-pixel custom-rigged monster has met with some iffy reviews. The 100-inch LCD from LG looks a lot, ahem, sharper. (Alas, neither are actually for sale in the real world.)
Asus XG Station - The first ever external video card, designed for letting graphics-limited laptops play high-end 3D games. It works.
SanDisk Sansa Connect - The coolest new MP3 player on the show floor. It takes the wirelessness of the Zune and does it less stupidly: You share files via a subscription to a music service (not yet announced) instead of via an ad hoc network. It's the size of a business card, stores 8GB of tunes, has real-time Internet radio, and more. The SanDisk booth is ridiculously busy, be warned.
LG Total DVD Player - Sure, it's not much to look at, but this $1,200 player that can handle both HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs could be the first shot in the war to end the high-def standards slapfight.
Yahoo! Go - Hey, had to plug the mothership. The Yahoo! Mobile Search stuff is cool, but if you come by the Yahoo! booth, you can get a free ice cream cone, complete with candy mix-ins and everything. It's like a gadget you can eat. Wave to your Yahoo! Tech staff, operating out of the back of the Yahoo! booth!
