1 - Tracing over video in flash (Running Time - 11:59)
Want to learn how to create your own raw dancing animation in Flash? Now's your chance! In this video, you'll learn how to import a video, embed it into your Flash file, and trace over it in order to create your own dance animation!
2 - Creating a Button with a Hover Animation (Running Time - 15:41)
In this tutorial, you'll learn how to create a picture button with some text at the bottom. When you hover over the button, the text, along with its semi-transparent background, will scroll up, revealing a more detailed description of the button.
3 - Pausing an Auto-scrolling Text Field (Running Time - 18:30)
In this two-part tutorial, you'll learn how to create a text field that scrolls automatically, and then you'll learn how to make the scrolling stop when the user hovers the mouse cursor over the text field.
4 - Smoky Text Fade (Running Time - 12:27)
In this video tutorial, you'll learn how to create a transition effect where one piece of text fades away in a puff of smoke while another piece of text fades in in its place.
5 - Cursor Bubbles (Running Time - 16:35)
If you dipped your mouse cursor under water, what would you get? Bubbles, of course! In this tutorial, you'll learn how to make bubbles appear to rise out of your user's cursor.
6 - Creating A Map With Selectable Regions (Running Time - 09:21)
This tutorial simply requires a little bit of tracing work and some ActionScript. In this video, you'll learn how to create a map with regions that are highlighted as you hover over them.
7 - Calculating the Distance Between Two Points (Running Time - 19:18)
It can be very useful to learn how to calculate the distance in pixels between two objects. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to use just such a calculation in order to change the size of a movie clip. As the user's mouse cursor gets closer to the movie clip, the movie clip will grow. As the cursor moves away, the movie clip will shrink back to it's original size.
8 - Smoking Thanksgiving Turkey (Running Time - 13:17)
This tutorial is devoted to smoking your own turkey in Flash. Using the blur filter, you'll learn how to create plumes of fragrant smoke rising off of your perfectly-cooked turkey.
9 - Using Transparency with Gradients (Running Time - 07:34)
In a past tip, we talked about using gradient masks to create realistic reflections in Flash. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to use a similar method to create a mask with soft edges.

Once you've drawn your snowflake in Flash, this video will teach you how to animate multiple instances of your snowflakes falling before your eyes. This tutorial uses the Math.random method in order to give your snowfall a more natural feel.
