A Florida teen is accused of killing his parents and hosting a house party afterwards with at least 40 friends, local media report.
The Port St. Lucie teen, 17, has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail, ABC reports.
The boy allegedly killed his parents with a framing hammer before stashing their bodies in the master bedroom and having a party.
The teen posted a party invitation on Facebook at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, police told ABC. Later, at about 10 that night, between 40 and 60 friends showed up at the house.
Police were called to the neighbourhood for noise complaints at about 2:30 a.m., but didn't notice anything unusual, ABC reported.
Hours later, however, they received a tip that the teen had killed his parents.
At 4:20 a.m., police returned to the house, where they found "beer cups lying around the house" and the teen, who seemed "nervous and panicky," Port St. Lucie Police Capt. Don Kryak said.
Police found the bodies of Mary Jo Hadley, 47, and Blake Hadley, 54, in the master bedroom, covered in towels, books and files.
There is no clear motive, but police say that the parents were killed before the party.
