Good news for madrid fans as Messi goes to jail for 21 months lol

Somehow he won't serve there for 21 months...

Why should it be good news for us? :P Personally I like to see messi play although I don't like Barca.
But of course he's marked as the "Good Boy" while Ronaldo is the "Arrogant" & "Selfish" one. But of course these things show whether they make sense or not.
This is specially done by the reporters and the barca fan pages.
If you go to one of their pages, you can only see how messi is the best player and how ronaldo is an arrogant, shit player who only do tap ins.
But if someone like suarez does 50 tap ins and get the golden boot, then according to their logic he should win the ballon d'or. :baffled:

And if Ronaldo scores a penalty, he gets trolled. Saying he only scores from penalties. And if he doesn't then again he gets trolled saying he can't even score a penalty.

Now what happened to messi? He missed one of the most important penalties in his life which cost them the game & the trophy and after that retired.
And even then the stupid barca fans somehow turn the loss in to higuain and other players faults other than accepting messi hit the last nail on the coffin. :P

Those barca pages kept trolling Ronaldo for missing the penalty against Austria. And karma delivered.

I really like messi. But I do not like those stupid barca fans and their stupid logic. So I'm happy to troll them over this.
And after all no one is over the law. Even the good boy messi :D

But I'm glad he's not going to jail. No one comes close to him with natual talent.
But hard working & dedicated? Obviously Ronaldo. That's why he's my best ever player.

I don't just want to keep possession - Mourinho declares his football more intense than Van Gaal

    josemourinho-cropped_1khh3kuuw4xew15avv2pwdh4d1.jpg

Jose Mourinho says his style of football at Manchester United will be more intense than his predecessor Louis van Gaal's.

The Dutchman attracted plenty of criticism for his focus on possession at the expense of expansive, risk-taking football in two seasons in charge.

Despite capping his reign with a long-awaited FA Cup triumph, the Red Devils ultimate failure to consistently challenge for the Premier League title saw Van Gaal axed. And while Mourinho said he does not believe in any one particular type of style of play, he will bring intensity and success back to United.

"Yes, we want to play different than the last season. Mr. Van Gaal is absolutely a top manager and his philosophy is very clear," Mourinho told MUTV.

"My philosophy is different, it's not better, it's different. My football is different."I am a lot more vertical, I am more intense. I like the ball possession as a way to create a chance to be vertical, I don't like it just to keep statistically possession of the ball.

"I'm not afraid to play a game with transitions, they will always come during the game, and I am not afraid to lose the ball, I'm not afraid of risk."

But Mourinho says he is not going to drill home one specific style of play, instead saying he will be adaptable to whatever players he has and the situations he faces.
"The style of play, the players have a huge contribution to that," the Portuguese continued."I think one of my characteristics as a manager is that I can adapt to what I have in hand.

"I feel it is one of my strengths, I don't defend that a manager should have one style of play, a manager should be open to adapt and to create a style that fits the reality."

Ferguson: Allardyce the 'obvious choice' for England

    sam-allardyce-alex-ferguson-cropped_17s2g3uwdwupe1jprwihcp2rl6.jpg

Sir Alex Ferguson believes Sam Allardyce is the "obvious" domestic candidate to succeed Roy Hodgson as England manager.

A narrow 2-1 win over Wales was the only highlight for England in a poor Euro 2016 campaign that ended with a shock loss to Iceland in the round of 16, prompting Hodgson to step down.

Former Manchester United manager Ferguson feels the Football Association should not limit itself to another home-grown appointment as they search for a replacement.

But if they do, the Scot claimed Allardyce - who enhanced his reputation further by keeping Sunderland safe from relegation last season - will be the frontrunner.

"The problem is there was an expectation England would do well and because they didn't, it's all a bit flat," he was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"So they need to work out what the plan B is.

"It's very difficult to think of the right man and there are only three English managers in the Premier League. With Sam's experience, he is the obvious choice.
"But I think they have to search wider to make sure they get the right one. If it's Sam, fine.

"But they have to have someone with the capabilities, the tactical awareness and the feel for the national side."Thank goodness I'm not making the choice because it's a difficult one, but Sam's the best English candidate because he's in the Premier League."

Ferguson also called on the FA to review the domestic program, claiming England are at a disadvantage by not having a winter break."In Germany they have a rest in December and January and teams who play in a better climate must be better prepared than English players.

"They don't even get a month's rest because they played three friendly games and they're training from June 12. That needs to be addressed."

:shocked:Messi handed 21-month prison sentence for tax fraud

    3260992_heroa.jpg

Barcelona star Lionel Messi has been handed a 21-month prison sentence for tax fraud but is unlikely to serve time in prison.

Any sentence under two years can be suspended under Spanish law, meaning Messi is expected to avoid spending a day behind bars, according to widespread reports.Messi, one of the world's highest-paid footballers, was tried alongside his father, Jorge Horacio Messi, for deceiving Spain's tax authority of €4.1 million (£3.19m) between 2007 and 2009.

The forward, who recently announced his retirement from the Argentina national team, has also been fined six weeks' wages worth £1.7 million.

The 29-year-old was accused of creating a number of fake companies in Belize and Uruguay to avoid taxation on his lucrative image rights.

Messi claimed he never suspected any wrongdoing about his financial affairs, but a court has found both he and his father guilty in the crime.Jorge has also been given the same sentence and both can appeal through the Supreme Court.

:cool:OFFICIAL: Man Utd confirm Mkhitaryan arrival

    3329102_heroa.jpg

Manchester United have confirmed the arrival of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan on a four-year contract.

Dortmund announced on Saturday that a deal which would see the Armenia international move to Old Trafford had been reached, and the Red Devils have now announced his arrival for an undisclosed fee.

Mkhitaryan was voted the Bundesliga Players' Player of the Season in a Kicker poll for 2015-16 after scoring 11 goals and registering 15 assists.

He becomes Jose Mourinho's third signing since his own arrival in May after moves for Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were completed earlier this summer.

And an emotional Mkhitaryan has described the move as a “dream come true” and also dedicated it to his father's memory.

"I am very proud to join Manchester United, this move is a dream come true for me. I am excited to play for a club with such an illustrious history and hope to be part of it for a long time,” he told United's official club website.

“I thank the trust the club and Jose Mourinho have put in me. Finally, I believe playing for such a great club honours my father’s memory, and the inspiration and drive he gave to me when I was young."
Mourinho added: "Henrikh is a very talented footballer who has been in such prolific form for both his club and his country. He is a real team player with great skill, vision and also has a good eye for goal.

“I am delighted he has chosen to sign for United. I believe he will make an impact on the team very quickly as his style of play is suited to the Premier League. We are all looking forward to working with him."

Mkhitaryan, 27, also has the option to extend his deal at United by a further year.

Barcelona stand by Messi after tax fraud ruling

    lionel-messi-cropped_6p5lwffrdonlzx3uxawj7jhv.png

Barcelona have offered their backing to Lionel Messi after he was given a prison sentence for tax fraud offences on Wednesday. The 29-year-old, along with his father Jorge, was found guilty of three counts of fiscal fraud related to image rights accrued between 2007 and 2009.

Both have been given a 21-month jail sentence by a Spanish court, along with a fine totalling €2 million.Neither of the two are likely to serve any time in prison as the sentence was less than two years for a non-violent offence and neither holds a criminal record.

Both men - who have always denied any wrongdoing - may appeal the decision, which came about despite a voluntary "corrective payment" of €5m made to authorities in August 2013 to cancel out the alleged amount of unpaid tax, plus interest.

And Barcelona say they will support any decision Messi and his family should decide to take in the wake of the ruling."FC Barcelona gives all its support to Leo Messi and his father with relation to the sentence for tax evasion handed out by the Provincial Court in Barcelona today," a club statement read.

"The club, in agreement with the Government prosecution service, considers that the player, who has corrected his position with the Spanish Tax Office, is in no way criminally responsible with regards to the facts underlined in this case.

"FC Barcelona continues to be at the disposal of Leo Messi and his family to support him in whatever action he decides to take in defence of his honesty and his legal interests."

Deschamps urges France to create their own history

Didier Deschamps is hoping his team can write their own chapter in the history of French football ahead of Thursday's Euro 2016 semi-final against Germany.

Deschamps was Les Bleus captain when they won the World Cup in 1998 on home soil and Euro 2000 in Netherlands and Belgium two years later. Prior to that, their only success on the international stage was at Euro 1984, when Michel Platini inspired them to glory in another tournament staged in France.

The current players will edge a significant step closer to adding their names to the record books if they can beat the world champions in Marseille and Deschamps is aware of the prize on offer."No-one can change history but there are some new chapters to be written and the players can write them," he said.

"This page is currently blank and they need to fill it tomorrow. What has happened before is not important. What happens now is important. "I believe the players have belief in themselves. We know the opposition, they are still the best side in the world but we are going to go out with everything.

"We've always had this confidence, this desire to get to where we are today. It's not been a linear process but the players have done everything to get into the semi-final against Germany."

Germany knocked France out of the last major tournament, beating Les Bleus 1-0 in the quarter-finals at World Cup 2014, and Deschamps accepts Joachim Low's men present a major obstacle for his side to overcome.

"Germany are used to hogging ball possession, they typically have more than the opposition but we cannot play the match thinking only about defending and then catch them on the break," he added."We have a chance and we want to take it, although we respect Germany. They are the world champions and have given the best impression of any of the teams over the tournament so far.

"You can't fight against Germany in terms of their experience, their caps, their trophies, the number of semi-finals and the number of finals they've played, we can't compete against that."But we are here and will give it everything we've got, with our qualities, taking into account the strength of the opposition.

"If we are here, we must also have some quality. Yes we conceded two goals in the second half against Iceland, that was definitely due to the team switching off a little bit. Before that we'd only conceded goals from penalties."We do have the ability to score goals and create danger for the opposition. That's very exciting for me."
