Hello guyz.. As many newbies of this site have problems in starting threads and replying to threads (as i heard from them), I thought of adding a tutorial. Hope our new members will read this and start posting.Please give the link of this thread when you invite someone to register in EK
Starting a Thread
Click on the Forum button which is located on the upper left side of the Home page of Elakiri.com
Click on Picture to zoom
There are about 40 forums (Announcement, News and Updates, Site feedback...) where you can start Your 1st thread or topic. If you wish to introduce yourself to other members, scroll down until you see a forum named 'Introductions and Greetings' and click.

Click on the button named Make a Post.
(Now you are about to start a thread/topic and whatever you write and submit will be shown To public)
Type the topic of your thread in the Title area.(Ex : Hello!!)
And type the message which should be there on your thread in the Message area.(Ex : Hello,Im new to ElaKiri)
Click on Picture to zoom
(1)And you can use any of those smiles to your message/post by clicking on them. (Click on [more] button located under smile faces for more smiles)
(2) Use an icon for your thread. It will appear with the Title of your Thread.
(3) Finally it is not compulsory, but press Preview Post button and check how will it appear to the public. If you think your thread is ready to publish, click on Submit New Thread button. Now your thread will appear on the main page of elakiri.
Wait for sometime (You can check out other threads) and reload your thread. You will see replies of other members below your post. Now let’s find out How to reply them back.
Replying to a Post
Mainly there are two ways of making a reply to a post. Normal reply and Reply with Quote.
Respond
You can reply to a thread by clicking on the Respond
button which is located upper part of any thread.
Quote
Reply with quote is used when you want to make a reply to a certain post. So then your reply will be shown with the post you wanted to Quote. For example,

In This picture, the certain post is “ Guys I win
” and the reply is “ OK 
”
There is a button called Quote
with every post of a thread.
Click on Picture to zoom
Click on the quote button of the post which you wish to reply back. Once you press the quote button, you’ll get a page same as you had when you were composing a thread.

Keep the excising text and type your reply in the marked area of the above picture. Don’t delete
{QUOTE=user;ID} His or Her Reply {/QOUTE} part.
After composing your reply, press Submit Reply button. Page will Automatically redirected to your Thread. Have fun @ EK!!
