Try this & see if you can check my real name, (Dont use the Excell password cracking codes,that is cheating, be true to your self & show your true problem solving skills):)

A man wanted to get into his work building, but he had forgotten his Code. However, he did remember five clues. These are what those clues were:

The fifth number plus the third number equals fourteen.
The fourth number is one more than the second number.
The first number is one less than twice the second number.
The second number plus the third number equals ten.
The sum of all five numbers is 30.

What were the five numbers and in what order?

Look at the clues given, find the code, that would open up the XL file,
A Hint: Build equations for each of the clue given & then try to solve them
Eg X+Y=10 etc..........

    How I solved it

    assume no is
    abcde

    (1) c + e = 14
    (2) d = b + 1
    (3) a = 2b - 1
    (4) b + c = 10
    (5) a + b + c+ d+ e = 30

    (3),(2) applied on (5)
    2b - 1 + b + c + b + 1 + e = 30
    4b + c + e = 30
    (4) ->
    3b + e = 20
    - (4) x 3 -> 3b + e - (3b + 3c) = 20 - 30
    3c - e = 10

    + (1) -> 4C = 24

    C = 6
    (1) -> e = 8
    (4) -> b = 4
    (2) -> d = 5
    (3) -> a = 7

    so answer is
