AMD? u missed a gr8 chance. you could hv sm boiler on it and make elect with steam (at least you could have a tea while playing)

dude, I used Athlon too. Heck, even now the processor is a Turion64, but they never heated up like that.

If you maintain your PC well. its can't slow down your PC (well, windows make slow your PC but game don't)

yea...maintaining is good..and i do maintain the PC...i actually mean, games need a lot of hard disk space, RAM, and etc.......therefore when a game "dominate" the PC resourses, another program such as MS word may slowdown...
However, now there are gaming PCs, x box, and PlayStation stuff ne...

thats becouz Microsoft windows can't sopport diff Hardware Arcitechers. so m$ promoting HWs that they can sup (its very hard to convert M$ products to a diff CPU arcitecture)

But Linux can be ported anyware, and any time. (almost all the CPU Acris are suped by linux, its easy to convert and sm times within hours EG VIA pros/ atom)
