You do have GfWL installed rite? Since after ENTER its GfWL loads!
If using a repack or ripped, make sure it does require GfWL for the game.. GfWL is needed for Red River to save and load profiles

i got this same error when i installed the game in windows7, so i uninstalled it den i reinstalled the game in my Win XP os, and played well.. try it n see if u have a 2nd OS as well..
