what're those red/green arrows?? i've seen them in some other videos too. (couldn't get a chance yet to play this SHIfT, thanx to my low-end VGA)
thanks for the info.That's the BEST LINE, there's always a best line in racing on the track where you can use to get around the corners with minimum of time spent and not sacrificing a lot of speed... so if you can follow that line combined with good speed and control you can set really good lap times!
personally I don't like play while having it ON, but in SHIFT, in some races to acquire stars you need to have 75% accuracy with the line.. so I keep it ON.
Oh! and the color changes are according to your speed, if your green arrow turns RED which means you gotta hit the break hard, YELLOW is a slight tap on the break (need to slow down, but not dramatically) GREEN is to give full throttle! So you can see in the video when a bend is near the arrows change color!

No drift races (which I'm not much good in) in SHIFT, i guess. right?
There are Drift races, not my cup of tea either

In other words, I couldn't have completed any drift race in some NFS games. I should improve my drifting skills after A/Ls.
Of cause, the worst sort of races in NFS series.
I thought that there were no drift races in professional racing. Then hope that, at least, there are no boss races.
I always try to play them last!

yeah, drifting in underground was a bit easier. but carbon was the game that i couldn't complete any drift race.i love drifting in underground 2 & carbon
also wat abt drag races
underground 2 drags were da best 4 me.

Try all the cars... because some has higher rating but not good handling.. one good thing in SHIFT is that after you buy the car and upgrades.. if you decide to sell the car you get all the money back.. so you can try lot of cars till you find the best one for you!
For me.. nothing beats the Pagani Zonda R.. amazing handling!!!
And try to buy the ultimate upgrade called "Works" if possible (only some cars can be converted to WORKS though, so choose carefully).... that will really make life a bit more easier on the track for you!
